This man and his girlfriend were the only two survivors in this terrible plane crash! They survived only because they were not playing with their mobiles when the plane crashed and so were able to adopt the correct position for the accident! It did not take them by surprise!

Editor's note/s: Heidi/Coffee, please read this before correcting my post! I found writing parts of this caption a little difficult/challenging:1. I didn't know if I should write: el avión or el piloto (?) hizo un aterrizaje de forzoso ? 2. I didn't know how to say: It did not 'take them by surprise'! My Oxford Spanish Dictionary gives me this construction: To take somebody by surprise: sorprender a alguien, pillar or agarrar or (Esp) coger a alguien desprevenido. When I have to change the order of the words in a given construction in a dictionary without any similar examples to follow I am likely to make mistakes, so please be gentle with me, Heidi ..I don't know everything yet lol I am still learning! 
Corrijan mi español si es necesario, por favor
