Aunque podría parecer que estos restos son de una batalla de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, la verdad es que son de un accidente que ocurrió en 1973 debido a un error cometido por el piloto.

Although it might seem that these remains are from a World War II battle, the truth is that they are from an accident that occurred in 1973 due to an error made by the pilot.

With a destroyed aircraft as a backdrop, the married couple are on a honeymoon. Con un avión destruido como telón de fondo, la pareja casada está de luna de miel.

como telón ..why did you use the plural? have a look first , I will check again later. - 006595c6, Jul 13, 2017
Married couples with the letter "s" are two or more groups & it's plural. In this context, it should be married couple without the letter "s" should be singular. - NKM1974, Jul 13, 2017
ok, you got it, made no sense otherwise. Now, almost correct: está DE luna de miel. - 006595c6, Jul 13, 2017

This is what happens when the pilot decides to become a member of the "Mile High Club".

This man and his girlfriend were the only two survivors in this terrible plane crash! They survived only because they were not playing with their mobiles when the plane crashed and so were able to adopt the correct position for the accident! It did not take them by surprise!

Editor's note/s: Heidi/Coffee, please read this before correcting my post! I found writing parts of this caption a little difficult/challenging:1. I didn't know if I should write: el avión or el piloto (?) hizo un aterrizaje de forzoso ? 2. I didn't know how to say: It did not 'take them by surprise'! My Oxford Spanish Dictionary gives me this construction: To take somebody by surprise: sorprender a alguien, pillar or agarrar or (Esp) coger a alguien desprevenido. When I have to change the order of the words in a given construction in a dictionary without any similar examples to follow I am likely to make mistakes, so please be gentle with me, Heidi ..I don't know everything yet lol I am still learning! wink

Corrijan mi español si es necesario, por favor smile

Esto me molesta. Si puedo recoger mis latas de cerveza, las aerolíneas pueden recoger sus vacíos también.

This bothers me. If I can pick up my beer cans, the airlines can pick up their empties too.

That i should post the double-speak as an answer? I can post them, translate them to "normal English" and then give the Spanish. - DonBigoteDeLaLancha, Jul 13, 2017
