Thank you all so much! I have enjoyed trying to learn Spanish, but I think I forget as many words as I learn. I wish I would have started this 20 or 30 or 40 years ago!
Thanks again! and heres wishing all of you a Merry Christmas!
I don't know you, but I want to congratulate you on your achievement. That is not easy to do. Glad you are doing so well.

Congratulations on your first million, from a fellow member of the club. I have seen you on a number of the flashcards I have done of late. Keep up the good work, vocabulary is the base you build on.

This is very difficult! Keep up the good work.
Well done!

Congratulations 2Wired Millionair and Legend .
And there was I thinking that the only thing that came out of Idaho
was the 'potato' well we now find that they have a very famous guy
who has just been admitted to the exclusive' million points club'.
How these guys do it I will never know but I am in awe of them.
Well done mate I guess there will be more to come so watch this space.

Hello!
I don't know your story, until I read your post. Lack of exposure to the Spanish language might be the reason why it's slow & having a difficult time learning it.
It's difficult to learn foreign languages, but it can be mitigated. Here are recommendations & suggestions for you.
First, start small, i.e. the words that you learn, do some research. Learning the word by it's meaning, usage i.e. phrases, expressions & idioms. A few minutes a day, try reading the dictionary. When you are accustomed to reading the dictionary, increase your reading period time. Dictionary software is great because it has word pronunciations. I read & installed the Collins English-Spanish Dictionary software 2 years ago that took me 10 months to complete from A to Z. The pronunciation is Andalucian Spanish & British English.
Second, try watching the news in Spanish. I watch BBC News & Telediario RTVE to compare the differences between English & Spanish. Listen to Spanish music. Listening to music helps with speech & pronunciation. Also, try listening or watching Spanish lessons via audio & video. Listening or watching lessons once is not sufficient enough. It needs to be penetrative. Try finding TV program shows or movies with Spanish subtitles. Subtitles are mostly for amateurs, but useful for reading text messages.
Finally, if you have a tablet PC with digital pen, try writing the words on a tablet PC with digital pen. This would help with writing proficiency. Also, practice typing Spanish words on keyboards using the alt + number. That is, inverted question/exclamation marks (¿ / ¡) grave accents (á / é / í / ó / ú), tilde (ñ) & dieresis (ü). This would augment touch-typing speed.
Hopefully, the recommendations & suggestions mentioned above gives you an idea what you can apply for this upcoming New Year. There are so many ways to learn the Spanish language, but you need to find that is pertinent to your needs.
Regards!
