Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day! This is a game where you can all practice your Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time! Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the answer I feel is the best, the fact that the person has corrected their post and possibly the number of votes. Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos. . Please encourage everyone with a vote. . .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun.

The large size of ligers is a good example of the effects of epigenetics.

I have to admit I see the word 'ligre' for first time in my life and everybody using it like if it was too common :D - Pablo064, Mar 9, 2016
I had never heard it either, Pablo, nor have I seen one. - annierats, Mar 11, 2016

Gringo, I think it should be; Pienso que necesito here because you are not using the' tener que 'construction to have to do something which is tener que + infinitive but I think that I need etc....I hope this helps :) - FELIZ77, Mar 9, 2016
Even though there is no change in subject? I started with necesito and changed it. Did I over think it? - gringojrf, Mar 9, 2016
Well, It certainly does not need the subjunctive :) - FELIZ77, Mar 9, 2016
Pienso que necesito--or better, "Creo que necesito." I think/believe that I need. - Daniela2041, Mar 9, 2016

The tiger: " This is how the vet likes to examine my teeth....well, I don't care as long as she does a good job! (She does it well/properly) But, if she doesn't ...I hope she can run quickly!"wink

Where were you Feliz?

In order to practice shark-fishing, you can use tigers. If you live far from the sea.

It is always said that the lion is a cat too, just a little bigger. But I never imagined it could be so great.

Yesterday the cat brought home a moving van and ate half of it before we could stop him.

'pudiéramos parar' 'dejar' would be 'to let-allow' or 'to stop doing something' e.g 'dejar de fumar' ;) - Pablo064, Mar 9, 2016
