Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where you can all practice your Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the answer I feel is the best, the fact that the person has corrected their post and possibly the number of votes.

Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos.

Please encourage everyone with a vote. . .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

Great picture, Nickel but the lack of light in the cave made It difficult to work out what the creature is supposed to be ...is is an owl or something quite different, please? It appears camouflaged against the background rocks! - FELIZ77, Feb 3, 2016
Hola Feliz, sorry about that it is a spider holding drum sticks over a tiny drum. :) - Nickelbackfan1, Feb 3, 2016

Be careful what you say about the band. Their drummer is "armed."

(English first because the pun doesn't work in Spanish.)

Cymbals come flying over and hit you in the head armed or armed with actual weapons? Either way it would hurt. - Nickelbackfan1, Feb 4, 2016

Ever since I found this drum and learned how to play it, I have had much more success with the ladies.

Hmmmmmm! Female spiders eat their mates. ¡Mucho ojo! ¿Vale? - Daniela2041, Feb 3, 2016
Wow Dani, Only you would put that. :) - Nickelbackfan1, Feb 3, 2016
Yes, Daniela- some spiders indeed do- it is a definite risk the amorous male runs, especially as some eat their potential suitors even before they become mates. :) - bosquederoble, Feb 3, 2016
There are definitely certain advantages of being human lol hahaha - FELIZ77, Feb 3, 2016

Walk to the beat of your own drum.

Spider: I wish I had drumsticks in each of my hundred feet.

"I wish I had drumsticks in each of my hundred feet" is a better way of saying it. smile

Yes, a big better, thank you ...I am used to seeing the spider's actual legs clearly, whether real or in cartoon (animated) form, to be able to recognize it as a spider! This one is as large as an owl or an octopus ...that is what threw me! :) - FELIZ77, Feb 3, 2016
Lol I wonder what an octopus playing the drums looks like. :) - Nickelbackfan1, Feb 3, 2016
You could sya that it would be a 'hands on' experience lol :) - FELIZ77, Feb 3, 2016
