Reading comprehension and listening.

¡Hola!

Can anybody recommend me any book to practice my reading skills or tell my other way to do that? I think the best way to do that is to have a text with question to it but... I don't know where can I find something like that. That can be online, than can be a book - it doesn't matter. smile The same thing is with the listening. I'm trying to listen a radio as much as possible, but I think it would be great to have some kind of exercises. smile

Always when I ask here a question you are great and I'm grateful for that. I'm 100% sure that this time will be the same! smile

I use a GED prep book that is in Spanish, but the questions are aimed at native speakers, and the answers not always explicitly stated. Look at the last question I asked on this site. :D - bosquederoble, Jan 8, 2016

Which language is your question referring to? - AnnRon, Jan 8, 2016
AnnRon, this website is "spanishdict.com" so I think this is a little obvious :D - SantasLittleHelper, Jan 9, 2016
Hello Santas, welcome to the Spanishdict forum :) People can learn both English and Spanish on this site even though it is called Spanishdict , so the answer to Anne''s question is not as obvious as it may appear! You might have been wanting to improve - FELIZ77, Jan 9, 2016

One of our teachers often did a lesson based on an edition of Tecla. The Spanish embassies encourage learning.

Here is the one for Poland:

Polonia

Here is the one for the UK

Introductory page

If you look on the left at materiales didácticas there are lots of links. Many of the 'lessons' are based on articles from El País. There are questions to check your comprehension and vocabulary to learn. The important thing is answers are provided Our lessons were B2/C1 but there is material for all levels.

I listen to cortometrajes and also to rtve. Many of the latest series have the option of subtitles in Spanish and or a transcript.

I enjoy Página Dos about books and un país para comerselo a mix of music food and travel un país para comérselo

Our teacher recommended

la felicidad en 4 minutos

I see you say you are a beginner - some of this may be too difficult. I am not sure how to access the recommendations on this site but I rate Mi Vida Loca BBC NIS podcasts in Spanish and Ver Taal. The last site is Dutch but can be read in English. One of the features is a brief audio of news from RTVE with questions for comprehension and transcripts.

I don't want to give too many suggestions. I am a huge fan of listening to music. Manu Chao have lots of catchy tunes on interesting subjects.

I can add various ELE sites with lessons and answers but think this is long enough for the moment
