Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day! enter image description here

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos.

Please encourage everyone with a vote. smile

. .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

Here is the previous Picture of the Day:

The man at the bottom right is either trying to scare a bear, or is about to get shot.

Come yes. It is New years, lets go party in the woods so we can become party animals.

I would rather stand and watch them. It is much safer this way.

The lost hikers tried to use their bodies to signal the plane to rescue them, but they inadvertently spelled out "Please post our picture on Spanishdict."

We are trying to learn from the great, ancient Ninja warriors how to leap about quickly and silently and with agility and fight bravely so that we can master the element of surprise...and like our hero Robin Hood, we must protect our forest from invaders..so watch out all you frackers! (all you men who want to do fracking) wink

Spring is in the air , and they are also up in the air.

Ants in their pants perhaps ?

y también ellos "están" (position, so estar not ser) en el aire, Ray :) - FELIZ77, Jan 1, 2016
Ray, I don't think that you (one) can translate this or any other idiom literally between languages I would translate: 'Ants in your pants' in your sentence as: perhaps they are agitated/restless I hope this helps :) - FELIZ77, Jan 1, 2016
When translating idioms you have to translate the core idea or the heart of the message/idea, rather than the exact words, because natives have different ways of expressing the core message in their own languages which will seldom ever be the same! - FELIZ77, Jan 1, 2016
in any language! ;) - FELIZ77, Jan 1, 2016
jajajaj, They may really have ants in their pants. Good, Ray and Feliz - sanlee, Jan 1, 2016
:) - Pablo064, Jan 1, 2016
jajaja there is an idiom for this in Spanish with ants too but they aren't in the pants but in the ****' ;) ;) - Pablo064, Jan 1, 2016
Hi Pablo , thanks could you send me a PM to explain the frase. - ray76, Jan 4, 2016

You say you don't know, you won't know until you begin.

Well can't you see me standing here,

I've got my back against the record machine

I ain't the worst that you've seen.

Oh can't you see what I mean?

Might as well jump. Jump!

Go ahead, jump.

Bueno, ¿No puedes verme parado aquí?

Tengo la espalda contra el tocadiscos

No soy el peor que has visto

¡Ay! ¿No puedes ver lo que quiero decir?

Más vale que saltes. íSalta!

Sigue adelante, Salta.

Once again, not my English, but I am solely responsible for the Spanish. I am not sure if salta really works, but I did not want to change it that drastically. Really what it is trying to say is most like "dame una oportunidad".
