Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day! enter image description here

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

Thank you Osas-Babyfor sending me this picture. I appreciate it very much. smile

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos.

Please encourage everyone with a vote. smile

. .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

No, seriously, sweetie, goats do this all the time—start eating at one end and I will start at the other—we can meet in the middle, sweet lips.

No sé.

I don't know. It's something we found draped over some bushes. We thought it might be good to eat.

I always knew that the giraffes are very generous towards people.

When those silly apes bathe naked in the lake, it is always very fun to grab their clothes and see how far from the shore we can entice them to go.

As they didn't have my size, I brought these items of clothing home, to try them on, but as they have become dirty we have to wash them before returning them to the Corte Inglés store tomorrow.

The wet clothes need to be hung very high so as to get the breeze.

I know what your thinking Sara but don't you dare drop this in the pond. There are gross fishes in there.

Hi Nick, very good, proper names are capitalized, like Sara. It is really two sentences. in the pond. There are gross (or use a semicolon) :) - sanlee, Dec 27, 2015
Thanks Sanlee, you are a lot of help mate. :) - Nickelbackfan1, Dec 28, 2015
..se en lo que estás pensando..pero no te 'atrevas' a 'dejar caer(or just 'tirar')' esto. 'peces repugnantes/asquerosos' ;) - Pablo064, Dec 28, 2015

We can’t allow our daughters to stand here naked to dry their clothes.

Pablo - It is ok in English - the future with "will" is a prediction but the present tense equates to a fact. - It is stronger. - ian-hill, Dec 27, 2015
Thanks Pablo, and Ian , we both learned a little here . Thanks mates. - ray76, Dec 27, 2015

How the giraffe got his long neck:

The giraffe on the left speaking to the lion: "Did you really expect me to 'stick out my neck' for you, again? Look what happened to my neck last time I did that! This could be (signal) the end of a beautiful friendship!" wink
