Find a word related to P R U D E N T

Question

The idea is to find an English word (synonym or antonym) related to the word

Last week I watched the documentary film Meru. I admired the climbing team for their courage, strength, and determination, but I couldn't help thinking that more sensible people wouldn't smoke cigarettes at 6000 meters.
