Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!**

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and post one or so captions and no photos.

Please encourage everyone with a vote. smile

. .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

Hmmm, I am sure you did not read your English after trying to decide whether to say not to clean the house or not to do the housecleaning. Looks a bit like something I do regularly. :D - bosquederoble, Oct 1, 2015

I don’t think this is precisely what the philosophers were trying to say when they invented the term “the ghost in the machine”.

I think this man must have been throwing a lot of garbage around if the vacuum cleaner became so enraged.

They told me that this kind of robot vacuum cleaner was programmed to not attack human beings.

Maybe his wife called him a pig so often that the vacuum did not think of him as being human. - gringojrf, Oct 1, 2015
@jrshenk: I believe that it was SF author A. E. Van Vogt who was the first to speak of "The Laws of Robotics" - Daniela2041, Oct 1, 2015
AnnRon indicates it may be Isaac Asimov. (I'll Google it.) - Daniela2041, Oct 1, 2015
AnnRon is correct. I checked Wikipedia, and the "not hurting humans" law was the First Law of Robitics, promulgated by Isaac Asimov. - Daniela2041, Oct 1, 2015
@All, Isaac Asimov's short story "Bicentennial Man" is awesome. ;) - jrschenk, Oct 1, 2015

Subjunctive alert!!!! "Como si la almohada pudiera----" :-) - Daniela2041, Oct 1, 2015
:) ♥♥ Thanks for the "alert" Cote. I always need help in the subjuctice. :) - sanlee, Oct 2, 2015
Thanks! Is the subjunctive necessary because of the uncertainty of whether the pillow could stop the vacuum? - DelaSierra, Oct 2, 2015

Instead of "yo amor la" you need to put: "Me encanta" (That's the Spanish Idiom for "I love it." - Daniela2041, Oct 1, 2015
you can also say 'La aspiradora se está volviendo loca or 'la' aspiradora está enloqueciendo' :) - Pablo064, Oct 2, 2015
Thanks, Pablo, I didn't even notice the second part. Guau. - Daniela2041, Oct 2, 2015
