Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

I hope you are enjoying this as much as I am. If anyone has a good image or picture you can send it to me in a PM. Hopefully, I can figure out how to upload it.smile Thank you all for your participation. !Muchas gracias a todos por tu participación!

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student faithfully continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Pon tu comentario/ título/ pie de foto a esta imagen (ambos en español y inglés) y vota por las respuestas que te gusten. La mejor respuesta será seleccionada mañana, tanto por la cantidad de votos como por la corrección en el uso del idioma.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post one caption and no photos.

  • Por favor, deja que todos tengan una oportunidad y pon solo una respuesta, sin fotos.

Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

May I suggest you a change, Quantifier? That expression follows this rule: tener que + infinitive. So that: "Ese chico pequeño (or ese pequeño) tuvo que TENER (infinitive). Consequence: él no tuvo que ir al hospital ;)) - Waidh, Apr 23, 2015
Thank you, Waidh. That's great information. :) - quantifier, Apr 23, 2015

Hi, Katy, may I suggest a little change? "conductores femeninas": we have "conductoras"...In this context, we would use "mujeres al volante" - Waidh, Apr 23, 2015
Waidh, thanks! - katydew, Apr 23, 2015

Wennix, " lo que 'puedo 'hacer " The verb querer = to want / to love, poder = to be able (what a person 'can' do I hope this helps :) - FELIZ77, Apr 24, 2015
Wennix, I would say: Mire, maestra, mire lo que puedo hacer. I hope this helps :) - FELIZ77, Apr 24, 2015
Two important points to mention: 1 A child should use the polite usted form of the imperative: ve not the familiar form when talking to a teacher. - FELIZ77, Apr 24, 2015
Both verbs ver and mirar can be used to mean to see , but only mirar means to 'look at' /'gaze at' in the sense of observing or taking note of what a person is doing so for that reason I feel the verb 'mirar' is more appropriate here! I hope this helps :) - FELIZ77, Apr 24, 2015
When talking to a teacher or any person in a position of authority eg: boss, police officer, teacher, judge etc... - FELIZ77, Apr 24, 2015
