Scam- estafar

Donde vivo, hay personas que intentan estafar a gente diciendo que son del IRS, y provocaron un poco de pánico en mi esposa hasta que le expliqué que el IRS se comunicaría con nosostros usando correo certificado y no el teléfono.

Where I live, there are people that are trying to scam people by saying they are from the IRS, and they provoked a little panic in my wife until I explained to her that the IRS would communicate with us using certified mail and not the telephone.
