Delight : una delicia

It was a delight to see the baby ducks following their mother to the water.

There was = había ; It was = era. If you use "era", get rid of preposition "a". If you use "había" change "a" to "en". - Vorterix, Dec 23, 2014

Júbilo, jubilation

Siempre recuerdo el sentido de la palabra “jubilar”, debido a que hoy voy a empezar a tener un sentimiento de júbilo, porque, aunque tengo que trabajar dos horas mañana por la mañana, después de eso, estaré de vacaciones hasta el año nuevo, y sólo puedo imaginarme cómo sería si no tuviera que regresar.

I always remember the meaning of the word “jubilar”, for today I am going to start to have a feeling of jubilation, because, even though I have to work for two hours in the morning tomorrow, after that, I will be on vacation up until the new year, and I can only imagine what it would be like if I were to not have to return.
