Find a word related to C O S T

The idea is to find an English word (synonym or antonym) related to the word –

C O S T (verbo, sustantivo )

and then write a simple sentence in English and Spanish for that word.

Example:

Good manners cost nothing.

La buena educación no cuesta dinero.

Has this project been costed?

¿Han calculado el coste del proyecto?

Pictures are a good idea.

This link might help you find some ideas.

We have no official corrector for this challenge yet.

I think I can manage to be the corrector for the English. smile

He perdido cuenta de cuanto me ha costado, lo de intentar aprender el castellano. Aspirinas sinfín, noches sin pegar ojo...

I've lost count of how much it has cost me to try to learn Spanish. Countless aspirins, sleepless nights..

Sin pegar ojo .. seems like a nice expression but what does it mean Annie ?? - Joydeep_Singh, Nov 13, 2014
Really good sentence Annie. You have used the expression "sin pegar ojo" that is pure Spanish :) :). - txustaboy, Nov 13, 2014
Joydeep_Sing: "sin pegar ojo", "no he pegado ojo" and all the possible variants, mean that you have slept nothing - txustaboy, Nov 13, 2014

Amiga, Ian being a british gentleman can tell better but in my opinion "instructive" doesn't serve the context well here "informative" could be a better option I would say .. because the statistics are not instructing us about anything, we are merely - Joydeep_Singh, Nov 12, 2014
gathering information from it... or we couls say "enlightening' , educative, illuminating etc. - Joydeep_Singh, Nov 12, 2014
Es muy interesante e informativo cuando se pueda ver las estadisticas ............. - Joydeep_Singh, Nov 12, 2014
o .. cuando puedas ver :) - Joydeep_Singh, Nov 12, 2014
I think both informative and instructive are ok Jimmy - it depends only on whether one wants just to be informed or to take action based on the information given.. - ian-hill, Nov 12, 2014
OK Ian, thanks. - Joydeep_Singh, Nov 12, 2014

Nunca debemos olvidar a los que han pagado el precio más alto por las libertades de las que nosotros disfrutamos.

We must never forget those that have paid the ultimate price for the liberties that we enjoy.
