The Spanish 'A' and Its Many Uses (including the so-called personal 'a'_

I've seen a few questions pop up on this topic lately so I am giving this a little 'bump'
Just marking this for a look/see tomorrow.
Ray, I posted an answer in February on this very subject. It got "best answer" Can you link it to this post? - Daniela2041 1 day ago flag
Here you go Daniela, was this the one?
I'm slow but I catch on... bumpity-bump, bump. : )
Thanks for demonstrating just how complicated language is. lol.
Bumping this up. We are still getting questions about this subject. There is some great information here.
Thanks for the link Kiwi! I'm still reading the "ebook" but what I like is the ease that this topic is explained. I've bookmarked this, too, as the personal "a" is something I always use incorrectly. Hopefully I can begin using it correctly and/or refer to this explanation.
Something else I enjoyed is the forumula "ir + a + verb infinitive" meaning to be going to do something. I knew this but I didn't know about....
"volver + a + verb infinitive" meaning to do something again
Need 'a'bump.
