The English word of the day is Funny (gracioso, divertido)

At this time we do not have an official corrector in Spanish.

I have a question... does "funny" ever really translate as "divertido"? To me, "divertido" means "fun" not "funny." - mstivers, Nov 2, 2013

In any other situation, the clowns in government would be funny, but it is too serious to laugh over all this.

Cuando estaba en mi lección de español, mi maestra dijo accidentalmente, "No quiero que hables." Después se rio porque era bien gracioso.

When I was at my Spanish lesson, my teacher accidentally said, "I don't want you to talk." Then she laughed because it was quite funny.

Algunos ríen a carcajadas cuando escuchan algo gracioso y otros simplemente forzan una pequeña sonrisa en señal de aprobación.
