Hello everyone,

The Picture of the Day. Game for practicing and having fun.

- Guidelines -

Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy. ;^)

Remember to correct your posts as suggested. Posts that are not corrected cannot be "accepted".

Please give everyone a chance and only post one caption and no photos.

I will advise on the Spanish part, and I'm still looking for volunteers on the English part.

This is the previous: Picture of the day: Furry cocktail party.
(Please correct my English)

Hickory, Dickory, Dock, the mouse jumped off the pot!

This is a play off of the very popular old English nursery rhyme for children called "Hickory, Dickory, Dock" in case anyone is confused. In the original version the words are "Hickory Dickory Dock, the mouse ran up the clock".

Hi! The sentence is good but you miss translated the word "jump"is not "bajó".b Bajó means down. "Jump" is translated as "brincar" o "saltar". - Cacciator, Oct 17, 2013
Hi Alyssa! I agree. 'to jump off' = "saltar de" :) - RelaxingCup, Oct 18, 2013
The clock struck one, but the rest got away with minor injuries. - pmikan-pam, Oct 18, 2013

Ratt was a Hair Metal band in the 80's. - heliotropeman, Oct 18, 2013
I think it should be: "Una foto de mi 'stage dive' en el concierto de (la banda) Ratt". (See the link I added to your answer).

As a lady, I always prefer to hover in public restrooms.

If I were a betting man, I´d say it´s my so-carefully groomed facial hair and deft command of the English subjunctive and conditional that might lead you to this conclusion, be that as it may. - rogspax, Oct 18, 2013

It should be: "Estoy en" or "Estoy sobre" because "dentro de" = inside. :) - RelaxingCup, Oct 18, 2013
And you cannot be inside a "moto" (motorcycle). If you use "dentro" you should write ratón-móvil (like the papa-móvil - popemobile) - RelaxingCup, Oct 18, 2013

During the day I work as a mouse, but at night I like partying.
