Algunas palabras en inglés pueden crear confusión para los principiantes.
Some words in English can be confusing for learners.
This one is to practice the following words: S A U C E (noun) and S O U R C E (noun or verb)
Both native Spanish and English speakers may answer - but write both Spanish and English sentences.
I would appreciate some help in checking the Spanish sentences.
Agradecería una cierta ayuda en la comprobación de las oraciones españolas.
I will "accept" the best effort after about a week
Every attempt will get a vote.
NOTE - we would normally need 2 sentences, one in each language for each use of these words .
Examples:
Less of your sauce, young man!
¡No sea insolente, joven!
The news is from a reliable source.
La noticia proviene de una fuente fidedigna.
Pictures may help to explain the meanings.
I wonder how many meanings / uses we can find.
Futher explanation as to the different meanings / uses may be given.
Please do not suggest new words - but pictures are welcome.

sauce - Stewed fruit, esp. apples, eaten as dessert or used as a garnish

Many children eat applesauce as part of their sack lunch.
source - A book or document used to provide evidence in research.
Un buen hombre de prensa revisa sus hechos y sus fuentes.
A good newspaper checks his facts and his sources.
The source of my sauce recipe is a secret.
El fuente de mi receta de salsa es un secreto.
