Quizás el caso del sufijo "al" no sea muy claro en el artículo de referencia. "equal"+ity-> equality, pero "eternal" +ity -> eternity - Fidalgo, Oct 7, 2012

Your point is exactly what I was referring to in the reference when I said "some adjectives". I haven't found any rules that makes this clearer for English learners. I know this doesn't really help, but checking the dictionary is the best way - bandit51jd, Oct 30, 2012
