I did several of these. Just type into the Q&A "Katydew's shared dialogues and most of them come up. I was working with my language tutor on these so they should be fairly accurate. She was Chilean. - katydew, Aug 29, 2016

B: Sí. Instead, I'd say, "Sí, como no."

  • A: ¿La habitación tiene aire acondicionando y en el baño hay agua caliente? I would probably rather say, "A: ¿La habitación tiene aire acondicionando y calentador de agua?"
  • B: Por supuesto, hay uno al frente del hotel. I'd rather say, "Claro que sí, hay uno al frente del hotel" or "Sí, como no, hay uno al frente del hotel"
  • Just suggestions!

Thank you for the addition and suggestions. - katydew, Jun 22, 2012
Does, 'si como no' mean, 'whichever you choose'? - katydew, Jun 22, 2012
Sí, como no, means yes, of course - PumpkinCalabaza, Jun 22, 2012
Thanks PumpkinCalab! You nailed it! It is also used to say, Yes it is and yes it does. - farallon7, Jun 24, 2012

Just bumping this up. I thought some of the newbies would like to learn from this series I was posting several years ago.

I give this and the other dialogues I looked at two thumbs up. Thanks for publicizing your past posts, I would never have seen them otherwise.

You are welcome. I can't remember how many I did but I think it was around 25 on different topics. I think some of them even had voice added from my tutor. - katydew, Aug 30, 2016

This looks awesome. As for Farallon's suggestion, I would either reword the sentence a bit or just hesitate before the last phrase....

¿La habitación tiene aire acondicionando y el baño...... hay agua caliente?

"....and in the bathroom....is there hot water?"

¿La habitación tiene aire acondicionando y hay agua caliente en el baño ?

"....and there's hot water in the bathroom?"

Thanks Mariana. I added that in as it was just a note to the side, but thought it was important to add to the dialogue since many places only have cold water. Of course, my additions always need tweaking. ;o) - katydew, Jun 22, 2012

I think that this is worth a bump because we so rarely get the chance of

practicing dialogue, this remind me so much of the trip to Spain that

Ian Hill and I had a few months back. Thanks Katya.
