ojo sarco
I suspect that ojo in this contex means spring, but the work sarco stumps me.

Miguel, if you say that someone has "ojos zarcos" it means "ojos azules", de color azul claro. But in this case the correct word is "zarco".
I grew up in Ojo Sarco, NM. I was told that it refers to the spring at the top of the valley. I was told that it meant dead man's spring or something like that. I think a body was found floating in it at one point.
Ojos "sarcos" means eyes of different color. "Heterochromia" in technical language.
Could it be "ojo sacro"? that would mean "holy eye", which doens't make sense to me. Maybe you can write a larger part of the sentence down for some context?
Un saludo
