I would appreciate some help with my Spanish/ Mexican vocabulary, and especially the tenses

It's great that you want to improve your Spanish, but this forum can only help you with specific questions. To learn grammar such as conjugation of verbs, you should take a class, or get a good textbook. There are also tapes and videos.

"She used to be beautiful" would be "Ella era bonita/guapa [antes]."

Thanks James,
My only training in high school was to speak in the first person. Such as, I or you have a beautiful wife. With that being said, I don't understand how to say, for instance, "She used to be beautiful". High School only taught us a simple vocabulary. I would like to be more fluent in my speech. Thanks for your reply!
