La música es una de las características culturales de los Estados Unidos. La tierra ahora conocida como los Estados Unidos fue originalmente la tierra de los indios nativos. Las tradiciones musicales de los Estados Unidos comenzaron con ellos. Además, los inmigrantes llegaron a América con sus tradiciones musicales. Ahora, en el siglo 21, tenemos hemos géneros como; hip hop, blues, country, ritmo y blues, jazz, pop, y rock and roll.
Music is one of the cultural characteristics of the United States. The land now known as the United States was originally the land of the Native Indians. The United States musical traditions began with them. Also, immigrants came to America with their musical traditions. Now, in the 21st century, we have genres such as; hip hop, blues, country, rhythm and blues, jazz, pop, and rock and roll.
Soy de Irlanda, una isla pequeña e insignificante que está cerca del Reino Unido y norte de España. Sólo viven 4 millones de personas allí.
A pesar de esto hay muchaos escritoriosescritores famosos Irlandeses y músicos también. Tenemos nuestra propia cultura incluso nuestra propia lengua, se llama irlandés que es una lengua céltica. Ahora sólo se hablaes hablada por 70,000 personas.

I'm from Ireland, a small and insignificant island near to the United Kingdom and north of Spain. Only 4 million people live there.
Despite this there are a lot of famous writers from Ireland, and musicians as well. We have our own culture and even our own language, called Irish, which is a Celtic language. Now it is only spoken by 70,000 people.
Es mi creencia que la gente es la gente. Todos son mismos,.somos lo mismo Aquí en los Estados Unidos, somos de diversidad étnica. Tenemos dos brazos, dos piernas y un corazón (tal vez). De todos modos, siempre que haya estado preguntado la pregunta me han hecho la pregunta ¿de dónde eres? muy a menudo, respondo con la respuesta diciendo, "Soy del planeta tierra".
It is my belief that people are people. Everybody is the same. Here in the United States we are muti-cultural. We have two arms, two legs and a heart (maybe). Anyway, whenever I have been asked the question, "Where are you from?" very often I respond with the answer, "I am from planet earth".

Hello and welcome everyone. Today I'm going to tell you a sad story.
I'm from the USA, the state of California, but I do not know how to surf! Oh em gee.
Although I love walking barefoot, playing the guitar and the ukulele, eating Mexican food, and hanging out at the beach with friends, I can't surf!
Don't feel too bad for me though, cause I'm from Cali, where everything is chill.
Ps. I'm not a reefer. Thanks for your time.

Un día en 1919, mi abuela decidió a inmigrar emigrar a los Estados Unidos así que Betty salió dejó a su familia en Belfast y vino sola (sin compañeros) en este barco que se llama "El Lapland." Cuando el barco desembarcó en Ellis Island en el 6 de deciembre, mi abuela fué a vivir con una amiga en Boston. Un día había una fiesta del bloque y conoció a mi abuelo allí. Los padres de mi abuelo habían inmigrado de Suecia antes le nacíode que él naciera. Se casaron para estuvieron casados por 60 años y vivieron vidas buenas y ahora tienen cientos de descendientes. Creo que muchos de nosotros aquí tengamos tenemos una historia similar. Gracias.
One day in 1919, my grandma decided to emigrate to the United States so Betty left her family in Belfast and traveled alone (without companions) in this ship named "The Lapland". When the ship disembarked in Ellis Island on December 6, my grandma went to live with a friend in Boston. One day there was a block party and she met my grandpa there. My grandpa's parents had emigrated from Sweden before he was born. They were married for 60 years and lived good lives and now have hundreds of descendents. I think that many of us here have a similar story. Thank you.
Soy Sueca, del norte del Europa. Suecia es el país al lado de Noruega, no es el país al norte del Italia donde viven los banqueros.
No, la Suecia es el país más libre, el país más bien mejor arreglado del mundo, el país más limpio y tiene tambíen una lengua tan fácil y dulce que todos los críos (los niños) la apprenden a una edad muy joven, sin ningúnos problemas. Tenemos también los mejores dentistas y una sistema de salud excelente.
Pero, como sabe todo el mundo, Suecia no es bien conocida por estas cosas, sino para por sus mujeres, las mujeres mas guapas del todo el mundo y claro, las mujeres más sexy tambíen. Son las mujeres altas, rubias y delgadas con los ojos azules. Y eso es la pura verdad.
Y porque ya no vivo en este paraíso mundíal?
Tenemos los impuestos más altos del mundo, pero esto no me importa. El problema es la el clíma. En suecia tenemos un invierno muy largo y oscuro . El verano es muy ,muy agradable, pero corto. Nuestras casas tienen ventanas muy grandes porque a los suecos, nos encanta la luz.
Y creo que, a los suecos, les faltan el sentido del humor. La gente es muy seria y propensa a depresiones mentales.
Por eso, me siento muy en casa en Spanish Dict.
Mi padre nació en Irlanda en un pueblo pequeño del sudoeste, en la casa de la derecha en la foto. Cuando estuvo era un hombre joven viajó a Inglaterra y empezó el trabajo en el hospital de Gloucester. Mi madre vivía en Gloucester con su familia y mi padre se hospedaba allí y se enamoraba de (or se enamoró de ella) ¿Es una historia romántica no?
My father was born in Ireland, in a small village in the south west, in the house on the right in the photo. When he was a young man he travelled to England and started work in the hospital in Gloucester. My mother lived in Gloucester with her family and my father lodged there and fell in love with her. It is a romantic story isn't it?
(By the way travelled with a double l is the British English spelling)
