Find the next "related" word

Find the next "related" word

11

The idea is to find a word "related" to the word in the previous answer

and

write a simple sentence in English and Spanish for that word..

Example:

Talk – They talk about money - Conversar -Conversan acerca de dinero

Speak – He wants to speak to you. - Hablar - (Él) quiere hablar con usted.

Speak is "related" to Talk - so the first answer must be related to Speak

Here is the next challenge

Mi gallina intenta cacarear los villancicos navideños, pero suena solo como "coc co co coc".

My hen tries to cackle Christmas carols, but it only sounds like "cluck cluck cluck".

Frecuently, I babble when trying to speak English and I must look like Pestas's hen, because I'm not sure of the pronunciation.

A menudo balbuceo cuando intento hablar en inglés y debo parecer la gallina de Pesta, porque no estoy segura de la pronunciación.

Estaba tan enfadada que chirrié a mi marido.

I was so cross that I screeched at my husband. Since this unfortunatly means I creaked like a door, I have come up with a new version:

Estaba tan enfadada que empezé a tartamudear

I was so cross I started to stammer. .

Are the tenses ok? - annierats, Oct 14, 2011
The tenses are perfect :) Chirriar is a verb which doesn't fit too much, though. Doors chirrían when they are oxidized, people don't. But.... nevermind, well done :) - cogumela, Oct 14, 2011
Gracias Cogumela. Point taken and total alteration made... - annierats, Oct 14, 2011
