I apologize for any not-showing pictures or text-color codes being revealed.

Sending Messages
Ok, don't worry...a PM is just an abbreviation for "private message". You can think of it as the e-mail system within SpanishDict. It's easy to send them. Just go the user to whom you want the send the message's profile and scroll down to below the badges and the "about" section. If the user has the ability enabled, you will see . Click that...it's self-explanatory from there
.
Checking Messages
Now, you know how to send them...what about checking them? It's very simple. Simply go to your profile (click your username at the upper-right hand corner of your screen) and you will see either or
. If you have messages that are unread, click that and check your messages
Replying to Messages
To reply to them, you can do it one of two ways. You can go back to your inbox and click "Reply" from there:
or you can simply scroll down to the bottom of your message and click "Reply".
Deleting Messages
Again, there are two ways to delete PMs. You can do it from your inbox.
You can also do it from within the message.
So, what's the deal with the "Leaderboard"?
At SpanishDict, we love a little competition So, as you earn your learning points, your points will be maintained on the leaderboard.
Compare your score with others!! If you have the highest learning point gain in one-week, you'll get a "Student of the Week" badge!! Remember, you gain learning points by completing lessons and flashcards.
p style="text-decoration:underline">Voting
If you see an answer that helps you, vote for it! If you see an intriguing question, vote for it!
Voting is a very simple process. While you're surfing around the forum, you'll encounter great questions and answers. To vote for something, all you have to do is click "Vote".
Once you do so, you'll turn this ...into this!
Hooray!
If you are voted up, you'll receive 10 points of rep. Great, right? If you vote up someone else, you will receive 1 point of rep!
Remember, there are limits of how much reputation one can gain within a 24-hour period. You can earn 200 points of rep within 24 hours, 10 of which can be earned by voting up someone else.
Don't panic if you see you are earning 0 rep! That simply you means you've reached your limit for the 24-hour period.
If you create a thread, you have the choice of choosing a best answer. The best answer answers your question thoroughly and sufficiently. To accept a best answer, all you have to do is click the green "Accept" button.
If you are chosen as a best answer, you will receive 20 points of rep (that is, if you haven't already reached your limit).
If you are on the forum and see a green check under a question, that means a best answerer has been chosen for that question.
If you realize that the answer you chose as best answerer does not sufficiently answer your question, click the green button that says "UN-ACCEPT".
Upon doing so, the answer you previously chose as best answer will no longer have the green check/blue background. You now also have the ability to choose a new best answer.
