"Why is cerdoso defined as a noun?"
In the dictionary the word cerdoso is defined as "bristly" in English, but identified as a masculine noun. This is an adjective in English and I presume in Spanish as well.

I guess the dictionary is wrong as I have just looked it up and it says adjective![]()
Yes it is an error DRAE says it is an adjective, I do not find it in Larousse
Cerdoso: persona o cosa que tiene las carácterísticas de un cerdo. (person or thing that has the characteristics of a pig)
Puede ser un adjetivo o un sustantivo:
El cerdoso está viniendo. (Said mockingly or derogatory) Is an adjective into a noun transformed.
Es un color cerdoso. (adjetivo)
De todas formas es de muy poco uso, jamás lo escuché. Anyway, it is of little use, never heard it.
