Spanish is rusty -- need help
My name is Jennifer, and my husband, Wes, and I have a combined 5 years of study in Spanish. But that was back in the early 90s in high school and, well, it's 2008 now. We have not used it very much since learning, so we are verrrrry rusty. Also, we are considering joining a Spanish congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses (that is our faith, but we attend an English congregation now) so we need to brush up so that we can benefit from the services, as well as help others in the Spanish community learn about the bible. Plus, my husband works with a lot of "hispanos" and I come in contact with them at the grocery store where I work. Sooooo . . . I guess we need some help brushing up on at least conversational Spanish to begin with. Most in our area are Mexican, with a few Puerto Ricans here and there. Any help is appreciated!
