The player shows up in the preview window but not when posted.

You will find that true for videos also. Players function in the preview window, but not when published. The preview window is not wysiwyg. It also shows different formatting than is actually displayed sometimes.

If that player is embedded on another site, you can usually create a successful link to it, however. So if you want someone to hear your MP3 file, post a link to the player, don't try to embed it here.
