My favorite time is coming around and that is the World Cup. Yes, it's back and better than ever. I wanted to get some thoughts from the maniacs out there who love the sport. Any predictions? Upsets? Here is a link to the FIFA site. USA is in group C with England... Uh oh! Good fútbol is better than no fútbol! Heidi, check out group H, your favorite!!
Mi tiempo favorito es el que viene alrededor y que es la copa mundial. Sí, es de vuelta y mejor que nunca. Quería tener algunos pensamientos de los maniacos por ahí que el amor al deporte. ¿Cualquier predicciones? ¿Malestar? Aquí está el enlace en la página de la FIFA. I can hardly wait - to be disappointed again.
I lived in Copenhagen in 1966. I had a worn out black and white TV.
At half time in the final (England - Germany) it stopped working.
I had to turn it on its side and take the back off to try to fix it.
I poked around feverously when suddenly it came on again.
The 2nd half had started so I watched the only final England have ever been in on my side on the floor not daring to touch the TV in case in stopped again.
Result 4-2 to England.

Spain - Argentina - Brazil - and of course Germany (been in 7 finals)
The World Cup? Now you're talking my language, Jason! And like Ian Hill I know I'm going to end up a disappointed Englishman but to be honest I love the competition - the "festival" atmosphere.
Prediction? - Spain or Argentina (can you imagine the gloating around here?)
I expect the USA team to have a good competition. A lot of the players are well known on this side of the pond - Landon Donovan, Clint Dempsey and one of the best goalkeepers in the world - Brad Friedel. But I will NOT be cheering for them next Saturday

I just hope Wayne Rooney sets the tournament alight, come on England.

Predicción - Yo creo que Portugal perderán con mas fuerza por que tienen solo un hombre equipo ( Christiano Ronaldo ) . Argentina serán muy bien , tienen muy muy fuerte delanteros ( Como - Messi , Higuain , Tevez , Diego milito , Aguero ).Yo creo que Italia tienen una muy buena oportunidad por ganar la Copa Mundial. Tienen muy fuerte porteros .
Malestares - Estados Unidos quiza harán muy bueno que irán a los semifinales. Holanda quiza harán muy bueno tambien. Son Subestimado pero tienen un muy genial equipo.
