The Conjugation of the Day ..... Past Perfect Tense

[English Form: Pronoun + Had + Past Participle Main Verb]

[Spanish Form: Pronoun + Preterit Imperfect Haber + Past Participle Main Verb]

Note: The past perfect simple expresses an action taking place before a certain time in the past.

These are the rules:

the reflexive verb form for "ellos" is "se". so if you wanted to say they had worn themselves out, it would be ellos se habían agotado. also, the reflexive pronoun for "el/ella" is se also and the pronoun for vosotros is not vos, it's "os". - a_butter, Apr 1, 2010

Desgraciadamente el niño no habia visto ningún de tráfico en la carretera, el caminó delante de un coche y causó un accidente muy grave.
