Please explain to me what my good friend want to convey when she said, "a ok, si es de ves en cuando que lo realizas esta bien, porque todos los dias es malo.."

De vez en cuando / From time to time...

"de vez en cuando" means from time to time or occasionally

Also it's sometimes "de cuando en cuando" or even "de vez en vez". All the variations mean the same thing.

You don't know how much this expression drove me crazy a couple of years ago.

"Of time in when"???!!!! rolleyes big surprise raspberry What in the world? LOL LOL

Now it is one of my favorite expressions since it is one of the first Spanish idioms I learned. I throw it into as many conversations as possible (whether it makes sense or not wink).
