"Enfadado" or "enojado"?

Question

Can enfadado and enojado be used interchangeably or do they have specific meanings that apply to particular situations?

I am just a learner too, but I use them interchangeably. Although I tend to use enfadar when I'm more mad then enojar just becuase is has satisfying F sound. I hear them both used to mean mad in shows etc....enojar more though.

As Jeezle said, I agree that they are interchangeable.

However, I noticed that they use "enfadado" more in Spain and "enojado" more en Mexico.

Yup that is true, a while ago I used "Enojada" in Spain and they told me that it is not wrong, but some people wouldn't understand me, cause "enfadada" is the word they use in Spain. - Alrisaera, Mar 12, 2010

I'm sorry about this, but I'd like to clarify this. What Jezz told you is his own impression, not the real meaning of the word. What I told you is what we use most often in Argentina, but maybe Mexican don't. Both words have the same meaning

If you look at my answer you will see that I clearly said that they are the same. I am sorry if you got confused. I stated that I use enfadar more when I am mad but that they are interchangeable. It is pretty clear, is it not? - jeezzle, Mar 11, 2010
