Hola Carlos:
Cambiemos aún estamos a tiempo
A man had painted a beautiful painting. Local authorities, photographers, journalists and many people came to the day of the public unveiling being as it was about a famous painter and well known artist. The moment arrived. The cloth that covered the painting was thrown off. There was a warm ovation. It was an impressing figure of Jesus knocking gently on the door of a house. Jesus seemed ???? with his ear to the door. He seemed to want to hear if anyone had answered his knock from inside the house. Everyone was admiring that lovely work of art. A very inquisitive/nosy observer found a flaw in the painting. The door didnt have a lock and he was going to ask the artist: Your door doesnt have a lock. How is he going to get it open? The painter took his bible, looked for a verse and asked the observer will you read?
Revelations 3:20: Behold I am here at the door and call. If anyone will hear my voice and will open the door, I will come in and dine with him and him with me.
This is how it is, the painter answered. This is the door to the heart of man. It can only be opened from the inside. Let us open our hearts to love, to God. Let us change ourselves. We are still in time

Carlos, yet another awesome post. Hey, are you personally the one that's recording your voice and posting it up? It seems so because you can hear stuff like doors slamming in the background and so. So, if it IS you, where are you from/race/nationality/etc.

I'll cheat and do the easy part:
(Reina-Valera 1960)
- Revelation 3:20
- Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. (King James version)
Very nice article and befitting the season. Thank you very much for sharing it. I must have seen this painting somewhere before, because I had heard the part about there being no doorknob (latch) and the significance of it.
Feliz navidad Carlos y tambien tú familia...
Annie.
Did a little research on my end and found this website with the beautiful artwork and written transcript. Getting tired here but will later go back and try to understand more of what is on the audio with the help of the transcription in Spanish. Interesting as I was an art major. Nice vocabulary challenge for me to practice understanding describing the story of a painting.
Feliz Navidad
