Hitting the Back button??

Question

Is it just me or is anyone else having problems in the Answer section when they press the Back button? I'm using IE8 and am not having this problem on any other website.

I'd await the wisdom of the omnipotent, all-knowing, cosmic-faring entity known as 'Q-freed' for this one..

My back button is working great, then again, I've always had a great behind, hee hee.

I just tried the back button twice from the page with your question on it with no problem.

I haven't had problems, either. (I'm using an up-to-date Firefox browser.)

That's a strange hitch you're experiencing.

Hopefully, someone with more sophisticated computer skills than I have can offer a remedy.

I also have no use of the back button. I use updated fire fox.

I'm not having any problems, but I am curious. Could you explain what exactly is the problem you are having?

• What is happening or not happening?
• What had you been doing just before pressing it?
• What specific screen in the Answer section were you looking at?
• What did you expect to happen?
• Does it happen in other screens on this website?

I am so glad that, as a programmer, I almost never had to deal with the problems of "end-users" (usually I only had to help other, less experienced, programmers)! Your question is hopelessly vague. You mention the browser (but not the version). You say nothing of the operating system (much less, the version). You do not describe the particular page that you were viewing (except to say that it was in the "Answer" section). You describe neither what you expected to see nor what you, in fact, saw.

Your problem could be related to difficulties on the server, with the internet, with your operating system, with the browser (and/or its assumptions about the behavior of your operating system) or, simply, your expectations about what should have happened.
