ASK A QUESTION Other alphabets
I recently started trying to learn Korean on another site. They use the Koran alphabet from the first lesson and you do not use western letters at all, which makes interesting typing. What are the opinions of whether its easier to learn another language if you use their written language from the inception rather than use a western alphabet to start off, and then introduce the written language later?

I think first you should get learn to read the alphabet. Seems more effective. If you're serious with the language you'll need to learn the reading and writing anyway. The only language that use different letters that I'm familiar with is Old Slavonic, we learnt it at the university and what we learnt first was how to read the alphabet. And only then the grammar and vocabulary.

I agree completely. It the foundation for all you will learn later on.
