Hispanic folklore

At the moment as part of my Spanish course I have to read a book every month and I think it would be a good idea to read up on Spanish folklore to help me to understand a bit more about the hispanic culture. I've recently read 'La Corza Blanca' by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer and i found it a bit of a challenge. I was wondering if anyone could tell me basically what it's about and also some other hispanic folklore if you know of any please!!

Have a look at this link. Sometimes when things are found using a :Google" search, you are allowed to translate them using the "Google" translator. Even if the translation is not perfect, you can still get a decent enough idea about what the original in Spanish was about through reading the translation.

For a translation of The White Hind (Stag), look here ----> La Corza Blanca

I hope this is a help to you,
