Could you please correct capitalization in your question? - Behemoth, Sep 22, 2009
In three weeks! - What's the problem? You have got to be joking too. And it is fluent not fluid. - ian-hill, Sep 23, 2009

I hate to tell you this, but you will not be fluent in three weeks. To be fluent means that you basically can understand everything you hear and say anything you need to say. You don't really have to think about it. You will need to spend quite a bit of time learning thousands of words and phrases, along with a complete understanding of the grammar before being able to say you are fluent.

If you want to learn quickly for a special purpose in three weeks, I can tell you this. Spend time doing the lessons on this site. If you work hard enough, you will be able to meet and greet people and you will be able to share some small conversation. But that will only happen if you start today and spend concentrated time on it every day for the next three weeks.

Good Luck!!

How do I learn how to speak fluid Spanish in 3 weeks?

This has an easy answer, no way.

However, you could have asked a much better question:

how do i learn correct spelling in my own language in 3 weeks?

For what purpose and which level?

Basically you need:

  1. Lessons on this page
  2. http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/spanish/
  3. Vocabulary teaching software (Rosetta, Super Memo, etc.)
  4. Lot of free time
  5. Good luck

If you want some decent grammar and vocabulary, take the "Learn Spanish" on this site. It is very good and will help you so much.

Now, fluently? Good luck. Fluidity takes a lot of practice, immersion, and focus.

Holli,

Don't get discouraged, start today, work at it every day and eventually you will reap the benefits of your hard work. Remember, soon, learning will become enjoyable.

No way, José. Not in 3 weeks! A language tutor once said to me that on average it takes 15,000 hours to master a language completely. Hence the key word is immersion. Study or practise it every minute of the day, or live in a Spanish-speaking country may speed it up as you are immersed in the langauge constantly.

There is no magic pill. We Americans (North that is) - Wait- I don't know about Canada, much to my shame, I never been to Canada , I live fairly close to it. about 8 hour drive. and Mexico is in North America- So let me rephrase this. At any rate, There is no magic pill **We humans want everything to be easy and nice ** Well, some humans want results without too much work. It does not happen, One gets out of the system what ones puts in the system,at least most of the time.*

So, as far as magic pills are concerned, there are none.

I am sorry, what was the question?

  • Mr Goodyear, the guy that came up with the rmethod to prevent rubber from breaking up, worked all his life to invent the method- That is all he did during his lifetime. When he learned to do this, someone from England stole and patented si system as a consequence Mr., Godyear never receive anything from his work. My point is that if one is going to do something,no matter what the what is then we might as well enjoyed the trip since, we will never know where one is going to end up. Chris Colón was another one he wanted to go east and end up in the west. Such is life!
