iPhone App
Hola!
I was wondering if SpanishDict.com might consider developing an iPhone app. I would love to see one that can handle the Practice portions of lessons. I'd even be willing to pay for it!

Just wanted to let you know we released the SpanishDict iPhone app today! It isn't connected to the lessons, but it does have the full dictionary, a huge phrasebook, a word game, the word of the day, and a favorites list.
And it's free!

Carrying around a Spanish-English dicitionary can be help also.
Wow. You come to a Spanish learning site and expect everything to be written in English? I'm sorry, but cussing is not going to entice the other person to write in English... it's just going to get your posts deleted and ignored. Please, go to another site if you want to talk like this. As Heidita says, this is a friendly forum.
As regards to the idea of an iPhone/iTouch app: that would be great, and I would definitely be willing to pay for it!
By the way, a great app that I have discovered for increasing your vocabulary is "AccelaStudy English -> Spanish." It has over 2,000 words divided into many categories, a quiz feature (with or without audio), and it's best feature - a spaced repetition mode.
Haha, your welcome. There is a free trial version... I think it's called "Accela Study Essentials", but I'm not sure. By the way: the one thing that it is lacking in is verbs. It has no verbs at all. But, luckily, they said that a new update is coming very, very soon with 500 verbs and even more vocabulary.
Well I just purchased it! I was impatient to try it out and didn't even find the free version. That will be great if they do add verbs with the update.

Thanks for the tip on AccelaStudy, I'm looking at it now and wondering how much $$ I have left in my iTunes account ![]()
Consumismo barato!!
My point is that I like SpanishDict.com very much, I like the format and the material that is offered for users to study. I just feel it would be just as nice, the same thing, in a different format for use over iphone/ipod while away from the computer. I would be willing to pay because I value this website very much, SpanishDict does an awesome job and if they offered something extra I'd be more than happy to support them. There are many times that I would like to work on my practice sections for a lesson but I am not at my computer.
Hello and welcme to the fourms of Spanish and English! .....
Eric, thank you for the response but also for welcoming me to the forums
I've been lurking, reading posts here and there. Mostly just trying to focus on my studies!

Hello and welcme to the fourms of Spanish and English! My name is Eric, and I would like to see something like that, I belive that it owuld be very interseting. If it was free. I think that if a iPhone can have things on it like the computer game "The Sims 3" ( My favorite computer game
) then it should be able to have this website, I belive that this would be a good addition, SpanishDict team!
