Reference articles act as a reliable reference on a particular topic. Articles may be voted on and commented on by members, but can only be edited by members with sufficient reputation.
Articles - Neuter
Overview
To express abstract ideas or give extra emphasis to a certain adjective, the neuter article can be used instead of a feminine or masculine article.
The Neuter Article
The neuter article is the easiest of all the articles as there is only one form: lo. And it is only used in two situations:
1.
Use lo + an adjective to communicate an abstract idea or quality of something.
- Lo bueno ganará. (The good (side) will win.)
- Lo difícil de español es el vocabulario. (The dificult (thing) about Spanish is the vocabulary.)
2.
Use lo + an adjective or adverb + que to emphasize that adjective or adverb.
- ¿No ves lo bueno que trabajo? (Don´t you see how good I work?)
- Hizo lo mejor que pudo.* (He did the best he could.)*

Possible Answers
- Lo romántico para mi es una rosa roja.
- Prefiero lo dramático en las películas.
- Lo bueno de mi vida es mi familia.
- Trabajo lo mejor cuando estoy ocupada.
