b. pressure (cooker)
El caldo estará listo en media hora si lo haces en la olla exprés.The broth will be ready in half an hour if you make it in the pressure cooker.
2. (strong)
a. espresso
Sebastián se sentó a leer mientras disfrutaba de un café exprés.Sebastian sat down to read while enjoying an espresso coffee.
A masculine noun is used with masculine articles and adjectives (e.g. el hombre guapo, el sol amarillo).
3. (vehicle)
a. express train
No conseguí boleto para el exprés a París esta tarde.I couldn't get a ticket for the express train to Paris this afternoon.
4. (beverage)
a. espresso
No pude dormir después del exprés que me tomé en la tarde.I couldn't sleep after the espresso I had in the afternoon.
