Can anyone tell me what the difference is between 'cabello' and 'pelo'? Or how they would be used differently? Thanks, Julie

Usually they are synonymous when referring to hair on your head. If you were talking about hair on you arm, however, it is pelo; not cabello.

Julie, cabello is used for hair that's on your head. Anywhere else on the body is pelo. Plus, pelo can be used for animal hair.

P.S: Vello can also refer to hair on the body.
