colito in English?
A woman in Guerrero told me a story in which a baby's "colito" was pecked by a baby chicken. Do you think colito meant anus or did it mean the baby's bottom in general?

cola (colita...not sure about the ability to make it masculine)
bum (informal) (nalgas) (AmBr) , fanny (United States)
Hmm... Now I'm not sure if she said culito or colita. It was an actual ritual by a curandera -- the chicken pecked the baby's colita or culito... I'm translating the interview I made with the woman. I think I'll say the chicken pecked the baby's bottom. Thanks so much for your help.
I haven't heard colito before, and my mom is from Guerrero so I only have two options: colita and culito. The first one goes with Qfreed's description and with which I would go for, culito is more like a way to say little ass. On the other hand, maybe tail could fit there, since the story appears to be fictitious.
Abuelala, that term can have a vulgar application meaning "anus", but it generally means "back-side".
I believe it is spelled "culito".
A native speaker can probably give a more accurate reference.
