Which threads or topics should be added on "Learning Resources" , please post your ideas and thoughts!
I wonder if everybody has seen this great new section on the site:
I have added the names of all those who should be mentioned as they have all helped create many of those resources.
I would also like to add more links to this section and need to know which threads should be added.
I am thinking about kiwi's threads....Kiwi, you need to create a Reference Article and then I will add the reference article to the page. Cathy also has very interesting threads on the subjunctive.
Please let me know about what should /can/ must be added ![]()

I don't know if this qualifies as a "Learning Resource", but I'll throw it in anyhow: I think we need a FAQ section sooooo badly!!! ![]()
I didn't see this site but there are so many on the list that I could've missed it. Here it is: Listening Skills
I propose a "The Best of Lazarus" section. We could send answers that gave us particular insight to help in the compilation. I know that I'm using him shamelessly in helping to compile the Subjunctive section.
Well maybe you can add this translator it translates into 3 types of Spanish Free translation.com ![]()
Or maybe this site e Learn Spanish Language
![]()
P.S:
Thanks

For this great reference ##
How about your wonderful Jose Luis Alvite threads?
1) There should be a "Classic Threads" section, and I would nominate several threads with substantial contributions by lazarus, particularly on the subjunctive, the use of objects and pronouns, and the passive voice.
2) Translations of articles from RAE on similar subjects from Spanish to English (without violating copyrights, of course).

We have the FAQ ![]()
And as a matter of fact, they were translated by Carlos so we also have them in Spanish![]()
I would have liked to have found a lesson focused on sentence structure in the grammar section. Maybe I was unusually ignorant of such specifics as Independent Clauses, Main and Subordinate clauses - and the three distinct types of those. This is important because one needs to know in order to choose the correct conjunction. I have since found the info elsewhere and probably wouldn't use it much here if you add it, but others may find it useful.
It would also be helpful to have a lesson on syllabification. I suspect that many of us can only make reasonably close phonetic guesses - as is evidently the way some dictionaries illustrate approximate correct pronunciation. Correct syllabification would enable us to always know precisely why and where stress is and should be placed. It would probably help in more accurate pronunciation as well. Although it would be nice to have, visual syllabification of every word in the dictionary on this site would be an unreasonable task to ask of you folks who provide this wonderful learning resource totally free of charge.
This helpful. It is a link to a number translator. number translator.link text
Parallel reading please.
Preferably in 3 sections
Beginners
Intermediate
Advanced.
Muchas gracias.
I liked very much Galsally's 'Little Prince' idea and have enjoyed a lot with it.
I find listenings really helpful, especially when they are read by well known friends or members of this Forum. For me, it would be great if more people in this community wanted to add their little readings here.
What do you think about having a 'listening section' recorded by ourselves?
Please give me your suggestions
This online textbook used to be in the reference section. I found it useful. online textbook[
