"Nosotros" is good, but "teno" isn't the TENER form that goes with it. Both "por" and "para" can mean "for", but use "para" when you're talking about a goal you're studying towards. - gozosa, Feb 18, 2010
A bit off, but a very good try, Jaz. A vote for your effort. - webdunce, Feb 19, 2010

"have to do something" = tener que [infinitive]

So, figure out these words:

we = ? to study = ? for = ? the test ?

And plug your results in to be able to translate it yourself. Don't forget to conjugate "tener" for "nosotros".

[we] [have ...] [to study] [for] [the test]

No, necesitar is "need to". Tener (conjugated) + que + infinitive is used for to "have to" + infinitive. - Rolest, Feb 18, 2010

If it was me, I would just say "Necesitamos estudiar para la prueba."
