An intransitive verb phrase is a phrase that combines a verb with a preposition or other particle and does not require a direct object (e.g. Everybody please stand up.).
1. (to beg for forgiveness)
a. pedir perdón
I know I said hurtful things. I want to ask for forgiveness.Sé que dije cosas hirientes. Quiero pedir perdón.

2. (imperative; used to address one person)
a. pide perdón (singular)
