b. reduced
El presupuesto menguado para el proyecto será insuficiente para llevarlo a cabo.The reduced budget for the project will be insufficient to carry it out.
c. depleted
La empresa hizo un recorte, pero ahora apenas puedo permitirme vivir con mi salario menguado.The company made cuts, but now I can barely afford to live on my depleted salary.
2. (craven)
a. cowardly
Debido a su espíritu menguado, Ana detesta correr riesgos.Because of her cowardly spirit, Ana hates taking risks.
A masculine noun is used with masculine articles and adjectives (e.g. el hombre guapo, el sol amarillo).
3. (knitting)
a. decrease
Mi abuela utilizó menguados para darle forma al gorro que estaba tejiendo.My grandmother used decreases to shape the cap she was knitting.
