An adjective is a word that describes a noun (e.g. the big dog).
1. (related to the morning) a. morning Hoy no hice mi paseo matinal porque estaba lloviendo. I didn't go on my morning walk today because it was raining.
A feminine noun is almost always used with feminine articles and adjectives (e.g. la mujer bonita, la luna llena).
2. (theater) a. matinée Voy a debutar en el teatro en la matinal de mañana. I will make my debut in the theater at tomorrow's matinée. b. matinee Solo tenían boletos para la matinal. I could only buy tickets for the matinee. c. morning performance La matinal de hoy se suspendió porque dos actores estaban descompuestos.
