An adverb is a word that describes a verb, an adjective, or other adverbs (e.g. to run quickly, very tired).

a. tamely
El lobo andaba mansamente al lado del cazador.The wolf walked tamely alongside the hunter.
b. meekly
Carlos contestó mansamente que se quedaría a trabajar hasta terminarlo todo.Carlos replied meekly that he would stay behind and work until everything was finished.
c. gently
La brisa soplaba mansamente y apenas se movían las hojas.The breeze blew gently and the leaves hardly moved.
