A feminine noun is almost always used with feminine articles and adjectives (e.g. la mujer bonita, la luna llena).
1. (lack of consistency)
a. contradiction
La incongruencia entre lo que dices y lo que haces solo confunde a la gente.The contradiction between what you say and what you do just confuses people.
b. inconsistency
Todavía no hemos podido determinar la razón por la incongruencia de los datos que registramos.We still haven't been to determine the reason for the inconsistency in the data we recorded.
c. incongruity
La narrativa del libro tiene demasiadas incongruencias para ser creíble.The book's narrative has too many incongruities to be credible.
2. (nonsense)
This refers to an idiomatic word or phrase for which there is no word-for-word translation.

Marta decía muchas incoherencias porque estaba muy borracha.Marta was completely incoherent because she was so drunk.
El hombre enloquecido tiraba cosas y decía incongruencias.The crazed man was throwing things and saying things that made no sense.
