A feminine noun is almost always used with feminine articles and adjectives (e.g. la mujer bonita, la luna llena).
1. (lack of faith)
a. impiety
Leonora teme que si se aleja de la iglesia, Dios castigará su impiedad.Leonora fears that if she walks away from the church, God will punish her impiety.
b. ungodliness
Alberto no quiere que las malas influencias desvíen a su hijo hacia la impiedad y el pecado.Alberto doesn't want bad influences to lead his son towards ungodliness and sin.
2. (lack of mercy)
a. ruthlessness
El asesino a sueldo se caracterizaba por su impiedad.The hired killer was known for his ruthlessness.
