b. heavy

d. confirmed

e. unregenerate
A word or phrase used to refer to the second person formal “usted” by their conjugation or implied context (e.g. usted).
Los cristianos afirman que Dios también ama a los pecadores empedernidos.Christians state that God also loves the unregenerate sinners.
2. (heartless)
a. cruel
El fugitivo es un criminal empedernido que maltrata a ancianos.The fugitive is a cruel criminal who mistreats old people.
3. (stubborn)
a. compulsive
Los ludópatas son jugadores empedernidos que creen necesitar jugar para vivir.Gambling addicts are compulsive players who think they need to play in order to live.
